Reviews module: Manager only topics
In addition to the regular topics, review cycle creators may chose that some topics are confidential. A confidential review topic is only displayed to the manger, HR and upwards in the management hierarchy.
Sample use case
You’d like to ask the managers, whether they consider a reviewee fit for a promotion. Or maybe you (HR) would like to know, if the manager thinks a reviewee is consider leaving your company. Any topic you’d give to a manager but not the reviewee for consideration is a good fit for a confidential topic.
How it works
Once Small Improvements staff has enabled the feature for your organisation, you (HR) can decide which review topics are only shown to the manager. When you (HR) create or edit a review cycle, you’ll notice that every topic on the managers side got an additional Confidential Topic check box:
If you (HR) decide that a topic is confidential, it will only been shown to the manager and not to his team member.
This is how the confidential topic will look like from the perspective of a manager:
When you (Manager) print the review, you’ll notice that the confidential topics are hidden by default. Without the confidential topics you may share the review with your reviewees. If you’d like to create a print including the confidential topics, you can do so in the print view:
When you (HR) export the reviews to PDF, you'll get to chose whether or not you want the confidential topics to be included in the documents:
Enabling the feature
By default, this feature is off. Small Improvements staff can enable the feature at your request, but we'll want to have a quick discussion about your needs first.
